Description
This is an enhanced rendering of a "doodle" that flowed out of my pen one day when I was completely bored and yearning for something elusive, There is no explanation for why a bird should emerge from a woman's hair clutching flowers. Who she is and why she is releasing butterflies is a mystery. All I can say is that bringing her to view on a blank sheet of paper brought me satisfaction and somehow calmed my restlessness. I hope she projects that sense of peace whenever you look her way.

Hi Michele~ What a small world we live in. First of all, I really like what you do. This piece is my favorite, though. :) I know your sister, she was my dance instructor for years. I am also on Fine Art America, and will keep an eye on your work! Wonderful!!

Wow! Hi, Jenn! I see that your comment was from 2011! I do hope I answered you back then. It doesn't look like it though. 2011 was when I first set up on FAA so I probably was confused about a lot of things. :/ So fun to hear of your connection with Kathy! I hope you still keep in contact with her. She loves to keep in touch with former students. Thanks for the compliment on my artwork. This particular one was one of my most spontaneous drawings that has ever come out of my pen. Ha! For that reason alone it's one of my favorites. I just took a look at your art. I love all the vibrancy and motion in your work. I took awhile to decide on a favorite -- I like so many of them! I finally decided "Walking Moonstone" was the one. I think because of the color combination. Where is Moonstone Beach? I just realized I should leave a comment on your page as well so I'll do that. :) I'm turning this into a letter. Ha! I'll stop now and just say.. Thank you! :) Michele
